How to find the 3C ID of my camera

Camera Password

The factory default for the Camera Password is 123. During the setup procedure, you are prompted to change the password for security purpose. The Camera Password is saved into the camera. The Camera ID and Camera Password is the only credential to access the camera.

Caveat

Memorize the Camera Password because you need to use it when you try to access the camera from multiple devices. In case you forget the Camera Password, you can do nothing but re-set up your camera.

User Name and User Password

When register the HiKam app, you need to create a User Name and Password. The User Name and Password pair is saved in our database for the management of HiKam account information. If you forget User Name or User Passowrd, simply register a new one. It will NOT impact operation on the camera.

Caveat

The User Name is unique identification of each user account. For security purpose, one user can only access the camera from one device. Therefore, the previous login will be force quit (on iOS) when log in from the second device with same User Name.

If you want to access the camera from multiple devices simultaneously, multiple user names will be needed.

Account ID

Account ID is a string of 8 digits (decimal-based). It is assigned by our database. To obtain the Account ID, launch KiKam app. Tap Account and Settings at the lower right corner. Tap Account. The Account ID is displayed on the first row.
